reverse light issue

I need a little help. I wired up 2 led work lights to my reverse lights temporarily until my up fitter switches come in but they will only work when the key is in the on position and the truck is not running. When then truck is running they will flash on real quick then I loose both the led work lights and my reverse lights. Has anyone run into this issue?

yep i have a buddy that did the same thing, aparently the reverse circuit is not heavy duty enough to handle the extra load and makes the light system act odd.

Just going to have to put them on an upfitter

Not sure, I wired mine into the trailer backup light circuit, Then add the upfitter switch to that circuit so they come on automatically with the backup lights and I can manually turn them on any time I want.
