Not to start a fight here. I just googled them and i found them for $120 a pair without the wiring.

Just checked my cost on a pair of those lights. $120 would be below dealer pricing by the time they shipped out.

Hard to believe that some places can or will sell for that. Rigid has unilateral pricing. Doesn't matter if you sell 1000 or 100,000 worth of rigid in a year all dealers get the same pricing.

You will need to add more lights to get complete coverage.

Here is an example of a 4 light kit that I installed. These are installed high and center of each wheel opening.

I would suggest getting a second 4 light kit and doing the frame rails or rockers of the truck. That would get you some really nice bright coverage.

I will cut you a deal if you buy two kits together.

Probably not real rigids. It seems like there's a whole crop of these cheap lights on eBay that claim to be rigids. If they were I don't understand why someone would buy them and sell them to make no money. eBay is full of scams like that. Makes it hard for honest real American businesses to stay open and pay their employees when people want eBay price for everything. Even if it's not really true pricing.

any idea how these lights hold up to heat? I was thinking if the light head itself is not very big about putting 4 of these under the hood and get rid of that crappy stock under hood light bulb. as long as the lights are not too big I was thinking about trying to attach them to small magnets and that would hold them to the underside of the hood then just run the wires down to a small 2 position switch near the battery/degas bottle and fuse everything between the battery and switch

Dude 4 of these under the good will be blinding lol. One or two max would be more than enough. I see them within inches of exhaust a few times and all seems to be well.

haha... well maybe 4 is a little over doing it... but you get where i'm going with the idea  id wrap the wires in some small heat wrap just to be safe, but if the lights have been mounted near exhausts I would imagine they could handle under the hood

Somewhere down in Texas..
Man, those would make sweet perimeter/puddle lights. My denali has the oem ones, and I love em. Would be badazz if you could mount one on the under side of each mirror (08+ tow mirrors, to work with your key fob. And then have one under each door as well. Fenderwell is a cool idea, be helpful changing a tire at night..asuming you have sunglasses handy!

You could very easily tap these into the mirror signal light. They would turn on when you click the fob just like the mirror/running light does.

Rock lights are nice, though I'd have to get this guys approval and he already said no. But maybe if I'm changing a flat it will be ok.
