I have one im selling you could put on the rear and be beastly.

I love roll pans, but would be screwed if someone or something ever hit you from the rear.

If someone hits you hard enough to do some real damage...you're screwed even if you have a bumper on. It's not like an OEM bumper is real solid or anything. I got smacked at a red light with a roll pan...did about 4 grand in damage but it was all covered by her insurance....even a new roll pan.

A regular bumper is gonna fold too...either way you're gonna be having their ins buy you new stuff

True, wasnt thinking to hard about that. And after rethinking about how my stock front bumper caved in relatively easy i guess the back would do the same. But fiberglass would just blow apart. So a steel roll pan would be a better investment then, right?

Either way both of you made a good point.

Ordered up the Grant pan, gonna have to figure out how to make it all work.

Moving the hitch back and loosing the spare is not going to work, so might just mod or make a new hitch.

You won't regret it. It's a lot more work but if you looked at the pics of mine you can see it's worth the effort.

It was great except for not matching the curve of the tailgate. Most people probably never even noticed.

I went with the Grant on mine as well. It looks better, takes a little more fab work to get it on there and takes a while to get one but it is worth it.

My spare is in the bed and my hitch is gone.
