Rotella t6 oil

I've ran it in my truck, was alright, but my truck ran better on 15w-40 Valvoline than it did on T6. Thinking about going to Schaeffers though, if i can find some on sale at an event this year.

Bottom line is, it's a decent oil, it's easy to get and you can't beat the price for a full synthetic oil..

One thing I noticed immediately after every single oil change in my 6.0's was that until I put a few miles on the oil, the truck acted like it didn't like it until it sheared a bit.. So if you try something different and this happens give it a little bit, they will run on whatever oil you put in them.. My buddy uses Cenpeco 15W40 year round in his 05 6.0 and it keeps on running.. That stuff is like putting gorilla glue in there...

Technically, you're right...plenty of people run it.
I could never pull any more than 3xxx out of a oil change with T-6 due to shear and viscosity breakdown. At that point idle was noticeably rougher and I started noticing oil consumption.
I can pull 5xxx on Schaeffers

I noticed rougher and louder injectors after 3-4k on Shell than my Shaeffers 7000 does at 5k.

Do you usually change out at 5k?
Blackstone say's I can extend my intervals to 7k, but I feel better changing at 5.

Yeah 5k (8,000km) is usually my change schedule, occasionally I've gone over by 500mi or so but I just sleep easier knowing it's newer oil in it, should I have to make a spur-the-moment trip somewhere far.

Just FYI My Blacksone said I could run 7,000 more miles on my T6 that had 5,000miles on it TBN was 7.9

I can't see you 7.3 guys being harder on this oil than My truck ?
