Okay, so my truck is on 4800# coils with the 305/50 & 20x12 setup. So with the new job I landed I decided to buy a set of 2" spacers. Well I got them on, and guess what? They rub, crazy right? Well my question is how much effort will it take to make them not rub?

I pulled the fender flare off the passenger side and cut some of the punch weld off. That helped some with the rubbing on the back side. Still hits the flare tho, but can turn full lock. But at full lock it hits the bottom of the bumper. I'm guessing I can space the bumper put some? How hard is that? But what about the back of the fender? Do I need to cut more? If this is gonna be a major ordeal I just won't run them.

Let me know what you guys think. Here's the truck pre spacers.

JMO, easiest way to fix that problem is to pull 'em off, and sell 'em. No more rubbing, and looked way better before 3/4's of the tire stuck out past the fender flare.

If you decide to do what they said, I might be interested in the spacers....but I personally like the look...love that wide and low look

Just gonna report back in here. I got a BDS bumper spacer kit and pushed the bumper 3/4 " forward and then took the dermal to the pinch welds/fender flares. Trimmed a little at a time until it didn't touch anymore then trimmed a little more. So far, no rubbing anymore.

I'll add a couple photos here for the hell of it.

Might as well get some 4" spacers and put the wheels completely outside the truck.

No. It's not. I will NOT get a 'dirty money' sticker on my truck.

I guess the cops around here don't really care.
I'm not sure the TDA one is any better... LOL

:poke: So is this what you cut your finger doing?
Oh hush you, and if you must know the knife I was using closed on me and I basically puched the blade with my knuckle.

It doesn't need the sticker. The stretched wheels way outside like that scream "dirty money" already!

To each there own though. I don't see the point. Hopefully you'll wise up and pull the spacers when you put the polished rims one.
