Running Board Options

I hated the running boards on my 04, they were the stock tube ones. Reason was the mud and crap that was always in the door.
The 08 I love them. They are tighter to the truck and also block the door so no mud and crap gets in. I have only seen them on the dually's though.

Got any pics with the steps off?

Here's a couple I took today. I definitely like the look of a cleaner stance.

Thanks, looks great. I agree, I wouldn't put a traditional step back on, unless it was an nfab. And honestly, I think that *might* look out of place. So looks like you're gonna have to sack up and spring for some amps! Lol

If you need to get those factory steps out of your garage, I know of a home in Florida that would welcome them with open arms. :poke:

I've actually been thinking about the "hoop" style steps. I never really liked them, but they get the job done and still kind of give off the no-step bars look. They're really cheap too.

they look cheap too... I mean, it's all good... form follows function and all, but it makes a really nice truck look cheap to me :(
