Well I'll be honest, I have no clue if you can empty all of the 238cc with a 30% nozzle in time either. But there was a time when those were a popular inj choice . Just Google mini me injector , lots of info.

Maybe that's why swamps has a 200/30 now . I'd still love to try a set of 238/80 hybrids. Some people say there the ultimate do all injector.

A 250/200 prob is a sweet inj forsur but I just don't want the tuning woes that go along with them to get them right.
I'm to picky and need my truck to run just right. Lol

So I gave your guys a little false info, I swore we came to a conclusion on 220/30's but I just looked at the injector sheet that came with them and I guess we had settled on 200/30's, I was 1 number off in my head lol sorry for misleading anyone, that was my fault

205/30's are a great injector because they are the smallest hybrid, I highly doubt you can empty them with 30% nozzles but they use less oil then any injector period. You can run them on a 15* OBS HPOP and they'll hold pressure.

For the same price you can get 250/200's and those are great sticks, 200% nozzles can be tuned great now. I have 350/200's and they're spotless at idle and while driving around like a fairly normal person.

I would look at 205/30's as 160/100's that are better on oil, but 205/30's cost $200 more then 160/100's.

You would probably pick up 30rwhp by switching to 80-100% nozzles

I dont know to much but can a nozzel that small on a injector that size even use the injector to 100% of its ability.

Swamps once stated in an older post that in with in the factory RPM band the stock "146" nozzles were good to just about 385rwhp and that a 30% over nozzle was good to about 450rwhp. Granted I am sure there are variables that could change that. Injector size/type/tuning/extreme ICP etc

Like I've stated before (I don't know chit btw), that has got to be an inefficient 385 hp. If you don't have a eureka moment while reading the tuning thread, then you need to keep reading and noodling/pontificating until it finally makes sense. Lol! Optimal temperature, pressure and piston position relatives to TDC are relevant here. That's where the large nozzles shine at levels above stock. They can get that fuel in the optimal window in which the temp, pressure and volume (these things are coupled to each other) are optimal for the most complete combustion and conversion of force on the piston to force it in the downward direction.

I completely agree. The only downside to a larger nozzle i can see is at lower ICP you can have a situation of lower atomization with some injector combos but with the correct tuning it seems to be a non issue. My 200% nozzles idle and cruise around better than my stock injectors did. I have not tried Hybrids however as I understand that they work a little faster and have the slightly lower hydraulic ratio.
