yea I had an s471 over s595. it worked great at the track. Just a little overkill for the street. I have more fun with a truck that spools decent and still pulls up top. And I don't consider a s400 spooling nice for the street. I used nitrous to light mine.
white truck is first pass with twin pumps (2011) and an s471 over 95 spraying it to spool. both vids have the ipr defaulting and powerloss. just showing spoolup

the wrapped vid shows how technology has changed lol. still defaulting but testing other parts.

so there is a few out there but most on 6.4's for the most part videos seem to spool really fast with a 400 for a high pressure

you can do anything you want, but its not gonna be fun on the street, you'll get lit up by every 6.4 with stock turbos and a tune, by the time your turbo's spool the guy in the 6.4 will be off the highway and home eating dinner already.....

I have driven a lot of s400 trucks on the street and had penty of fun they do spool pretty quick with the right size s400, my truck as well as craigs are fun on the street, sure they can be a bit laggy on the street but you need to drive in one first before you judge anything. Here are a few vids of our s400 trucks, whitey spooled a s475/87 1.0 open housing pretty fast with no nitrous.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7hRBK8GqKk

brake boosting I agree they spool quick. I had a turbo on my dodge from pius at bell turbo i forget which one it was but had a 71mm 5" inducer, t6. 90 housing, and plumbed for an external gate. i didn't run one. I had similar size wheels to an Aurora 5000 from ats, but better spool up, with bell turbo magic..I could put in 4wd and build 30psi easily but on the highway a 6.0 with a race tune with 100 less hp. and being close in weight would jump out 3-4 trucks and i would come by them hard by 75-80 until I lifted.
