S464/s467 on stock fuel?

Hey guys changing my build plans and switching to a single. I couldn't find anybody running the s464 in the search thread. Anywho I'm running stock fuel fr the time being and wanted to know if anybody ran the 464 and how it performed. I met a really nice guy at rudys last night and he has a single setup but had run the 464 on stock fuel and said it was great. I have a stage 1 rcd can and martys fuel system and every other supporting mods thanks! Not too worried about lag I don't tow anythig. Beside a 3k lb duck hunting boat.

S464 is a good turbo for the price. With a .9 housing it should work okay. That 63mm stock wheel is not extended tip however, so the price jump getting into a 465 (64.5) with an ETT should net a little better performance throughout the entire rpm range.

Thanks for the info man, I should have added that I want to have a turbo with all the upgrades not just a box unit. Fmw/billet forged wheel. 360* thrust ect

Was his name by chance hunter? Also how do you like the 467? Which housing are you running on it and ect? Do you have the specs? Are you on stock fuel?

yea hunter. i ran a 366, made the bump to the 467. i like it alot better. more power, spools the same to me i feel. before i switched i talked to alot of people who went s300 to s400. they all said its worth it, and obviously a better charger to start. everyones different though. stock fuel, 67.7, 83mm turbine, with a .90 housing. id like to put 30% nozzles in some day, so i can keep my stock pump but spool it better. then it would be awesome to me i feel.

Yea hunter was a really cool guy really knowledgable he is also running a 472 and a cp3 dual fueler setup with 30% I believe

Sounds good! If I go with that turbo I will go with the .9 housing I believe

With a 366 doing 600+ I feel like that turbo is going to be maxed out and hurting reliability and creating heat? What is your input?

Just ordered the Mpd kit with the 467.7 Fmw with race cover and all can't wait!

everyone seems to run a 366. which is fine, i did. i talked to a few people who jumped to s400's including myself and wouldnt look back. and i agree. the 467 is sweet, good choice...

Hell ya I can't wait to compare the differences since you'll have a different exducer and housing. How much additional is the race cover?

Im not sure man after it got over 3 i just said let it eat lol. Ill see if i cant find out once it gets here and i get the invoice
