E99 mine works off the obd-II port, didnt need to wire it in switched, though i might still. mine also said that, and shut off, but turn the key off, and back on and it worked. when you turn it on, it will say that ennunciator is on/off, depending on how you got it set. does that every start up.

It never worked out of the box. The aeroforce guys are going to repair/replace it.
