Scan gauge problem

When I do the buzz test, they all buzz then it says "unable to complete test"
What seems to be the problem?

I have had a few trucks were AE does that as well. I am not sure what is the issue. Only close info I can remember is when the timeout had to be adjusted on the scan gauge to fix that but I think that was an OBS issue.

Voltage needs to be within spec... I have it happen from time to time...

Good info Joe was that with AE or another scan tool. Do you know the parameter?

It was with both the scan gauge and the AE. I dont recall but if its in the 11v range I have issues.

Mine is at 12.0 and still says unable to complete test.

I had that issue when I had weak batts. 12V is weak.

I had a truck where this was happening and it ended up being a goofy fuse contact problem in the block. Maybe check there?

At least 13 volts.

Key on engine off my scan gauge shows 11.9-12.0 while cranking it goes to 10
I put a battery charger on the battery and then it went up to 12.6
I still can't get the buzz test to test

I just checked, 14 volts while running.
Buzz test still says unable to test
Ran a cc test and got theses codes,
P0263
P0284

Sooo you've checked the fuse block? This fits the same issue I experienced to a "T"

Btw, those codes show cylinders 1 and 8 failing a contribution test

Yes, but i'll check again.
What did you do to fix your problem? Fuse blown i take it? what one?

huh what the heck would cause that? I have new injectors, new cps, new uvch, new valve cover gaskets

Try unplugging the 42 pin connector on the driver side Valve cover. Spray it really good with some contact cleaner and some dielectric grease and reattache it.

Tried everything posted, still doesn't work. I called the place I bought it from, told them the problem they said they will check into it and get back with me, never did.
