Had head gaskets, studs, and head checks done on mine and found thhe original stand Pipes And Dummy Plugs... No Signss of Hpo leak... 122,xxx Miles...

Ok, getting my parts together to do all this work. Have to replace all 8 injectors, so while I have it blown apart, I'm swapping in all the upgraded parts. Extra insurance since I already have it torn down. As far as tools go, what sizes are each of these....

Injector hold down bolt?
Stand pipe?
Dummy plug?
Oil rail bolts?
Stc?

I know some are Torx, an some are hex. I have a Torx set, but a couple of the common sizes are broke. Make sure I get those replaced if I will need them. Need to get a hex set, and want to make sure I get a set that has the right sizes.

Also, who makes a good torque wrench, in the $100 range? I rarely have a need for one, and don't see a reason to spend $300 on a Matco or Snapon. I've looked at Titan, they all get good reviews. Hell even the Harbor Freight ones had great reviews but I just don't think I want to trust those.

Injector hold downs: T-40 or T-45
Stand pipe/ dummy : 10mm or 12mm allen
Rail bolts: T-30

Why do you say OR for each thing? Different size depending on the year? Mine is a 05 FWIW.

An 05 should use T-45 for the hold downs, but the standpipe/ dummy could be either 10 or 12mm depending on if they have been changed already.

Far as I know they've never been changed. Guess I'll find out when I tear it apart.
