I'm going to a truck and tractor pull tomorrow. Gonna see what the 6466 will do. I have never pulled this truck before. The only problem is that most people say to use 4 low 3rd and stay in that gear throughout the pull, but if I put my truck in manual 3rd, it will shift up at redline, which I think will kill my momentum. Now 4hi first seems to stay put in that gear at redline, but I don't know if that's too tall of a gear. What do you guys think? Has anyone on here hooked their 6.7 to a sled?

I've always pulled in first 4 HI. You can see most of mine of YouTube. But I've also done it in 3rd low. Pretty much your choice. But I prefer 1st.

Yup. Cabled to the sled. My buddies uncle made one of replaceable extension cord ends its just zip tied together and cuts the power to the distributor. It works pretty well and is a neat idea using those parts.
