The rear is Jerry Bickel Promod 4 link stuff, but It has never worked like it should. I almost wished I had gone with a set of ladder bars but a guy here in town swears he can make it work, if not the 4 link is coming out.

Hopefully you get it dialed. making the suspensión work correctly is the main thing im worried about with mine.

They are harmless, just a bunch of hot air like many of the guys on here.
The real racers rarely talk smack.
Why not go with a full tubular rolling chassis with the $$ you have invested in this and get some real light weights to go with that motor? Rolling chassis' aren't THAT expensive, compared to what you have. Is it because of the weight of the diesel up front?

Seams like a factory frame might not allow for proper arm angles ect

You need to be cutting like 1.4x 60 foots

The 4 link mounts are the same as a back half would be. A 4 link was designed to be able to plant the tires without planting them too much and riding wheelies, in these heavy trucks we need all the help we can get.

But what about mounting height and angles? Got any pictures of your set up

The only other thing I will do is compounds and what it runs will be it. Any money after that will go in the dragster.

Big compounds on a huei 7.3 are not beneficial in my opinion; harder to launch. Fuel only to fuel only, I've ran faster on a single charger,

That makes 3 of us, while I think I can get there on fuel with this engine Dennis has the best chance of doing it so far as I have a lot of work to do on my suspension and slick combo, my best 60' has only been a 1.79, on the other hand Dennis seems to have his suspension dialed in, so a well prepped track and some good air should get him there.

Sure would be nice to see him do it from a close side view:D

AND so I don't have tolerate this type of abuse

Y'all 2wd drive guys need to get a hold of Ryan Casserly, his suspension is setup right!! Cutting low 1.5's iirc with a 550hp truck, I think he's rocking full built engine now.

when i started planning my truck, it was in between back halved 4 ling or back halved ladder bar.

the back halved ladders are much much easier to tune but limited. the 4 link has , iirc 240+ combinations. the proper 4 link with good adjustability and splined anti-roll, like haller has, is built for 1.30's from chris alston chassis worx . its gonna take lots of dedication and somebody who truly understands the geometry. i know gene understands, i think he cut a 1.49 at 500 horse and little tuning to the rear and did not have the tuneability that this setup has. i remember david and richard both having a hell of a time. maybe getting somebody who tunes them (richard just might know a guy who knows a guy) ... and that will help you out lott. SOOOOOOOOOOOO much is being lost there.

we know jacob .. all hail WOP ! was there ever anything that wasnt the greatest over there?

Wan't implying it was the greatest, just that the four link that was built under it worked well. Dennis seems to be having decent success with his ladder bar setup though

Not sure if you would want to tackle it but triples work really well. The trips that where on the lightning where so responsive zane could launch at 2 3 pounds and they where right there.
