your trapping when your powerband STARTS
you need to be at the middle to end of that...
PLUS i think it will help your truck get out and 60' better
A GTX45R would actually gain me power but I would rather spend the time and add my GT55 to it and gain even more power.
I like your thinking:bowfast::bowfast:first 1/8 mile is about 830 hp
last 1/8 mile is about 730hp
If it were me i would be looking to run a 30-31 inch tall tire, should get you trapping around 3500 rpm
Keep in mind a lot has changed in the last 7 years, back then we were RPM limited. Not now well to a certain extent not now.Since you're teaching and some of us are learning, why did you go with a 3.54 gear to begin with? I would have guessed lower than that. Maybe in the 4.10 range.
EDIT: Is it because of lower RPMS with a diesel?
maybe, but a saved idiot. btw it should be you'reopcorn:Your an idiot
True, although temporary.I'm still faster oke:

notice the 10.55 vs the 11.18 at the same trap speed david LOL
Why it 60's 1.0 in Colorado that's pretty good
Kind of a side question but what would be a really dialed in 60ft time for snow white at this HP.
if im reading that right it did a 1.81
that is not right, et is from the moment you move till you cross the line, r/t comes into play when racing someone else and you both CAN leave at the same time, who ever has a better r/t has the advantage.
Reaction time is how fast you reacted to the green light without red lighting it. The timer for ET starts when your wheels don't block the staging light beams any more. You don't want to wait until the light is green to launch. You have to time it just right and that takes many, many trips down the strip. And you'll still red light on occasion. :toast:
yes I agree.your trapping when your powerband STARTS

6 - Brian Jelich (powersmoker), 11.20 @ 117.2 MPH H20, RCLB Single turbo (7.3) 2-20-11** not faster but quite abit slower. BG vs Garrett apples to oranges.Never ran a 45r, but I have rum Borgwarner equivalents. Lost track time on fuel only to fuel only.
And I really think you're wasting your time installing that GT55 on there; Air isn't the problem, it's the fuel. I've run faster on a single.

i thought the truck was lighter than that but either way you are giving up about 100 hp on the back half
No it's a 1.0 but ya your reading it right

Gt4202r, dual waste-gates, and a two stage NX progressive unit. Now we're talking

no worries.Just to clear this up David. When i said nut behind the wheel. I was just messing with you! When you said it was a bolt part, the first thing that clicked was nut. Hence i said that. Just thought I would clear that up.
Oh yeah, you're 500 lbs lighter and only having to drive the rear axle. Of course you're going to trap higher, nice try Mr. Apple to oranges oke:

no worries.
Don't start making excuses now, you were the one that said the fix was to add a Dana 60 and transfer case.
no worries.
