a 4 pin and 7 pin won't bolt down properly to a 4 pin or 7 pin bottom shell

so IDK about that comment ?

I wasn't aware of that, honestly haven't taken one apart. It's beyond my capacity and I know when to say it's above me. Wasn't trying to provide wrong info I just didn't recall being asked if I had a 4 or 7 pin when I sent mine in as a core so I figured they were all the same. It was over 2 years ago, thats why I indicated I could be wrong.

yup they need to know 4-7 because the bottom logic side has to be the match for the topside

if you replace the whole unit and loose the logic side then u need to reprogram the unit

Good call, I was on the site yesterday and swore that was the price with a drop down saying +200 for the 6 phase.

compared to the 4 phase it is way more $ but the 4 phase is only like 495

I would check but battery is dying LOL
