thanks man. if you remove it all together id get new shorter ubolts or if you dont plan on going back up then you can cut the stockers so you can still use a deep socket.

I took out the stock blocks and installed 1 1/2" blocks.

I had to keep the bags in the front end because with 325's they were rubbin hard on sharp turns...even after I cut the corners off the air dam.

But I really like the way they look lowered...

How much do you tow? its a little more work, but removing a leaf can result in that much drop and better ride but sacrificing some towing.

Don't tow much at all. I think I'm gonna go the easy route..just thought about it..gonna rent a tap and die set and thread my stock u-bolts down to where I need them. What do you guys think..I could rent that kit, die it down and return it and it won't cost me a dime. Sounds good to me?

Sounds good in theory. might be hard to find a die that size and not sure how hard it will be to cut the threads. But sounds like a good plan if you have access to the tools.

Edit: and I don't know about that being the easy way, but is cheaper than buying some.

Buy new u-bolts at your local spring shop, mine were $36 built to length with nuts. Have fun threading your stock ones.
