You don't think having that turbo open like that is going to hurt anything? Always have been curious about those things

proven to not cool enough for a tow rig. should be fine in a mall crawler.

Last time I made that statement on here about 9 or 10 months ago, I got flamed hard. Supposedly some folks have had success towing with them.

That's cool. To each his own. It's not a dually. I don't tow anything over 2k, if at all. This build wasn't intended to be a tow pig. Keep doin your thing, and I'll do mine.

I hope so haha. Well see how well the fans, aftermarket rad and filled block do together
right on. i know the stock cooling system is very efficient but i think that is just because of the fan. not sure if the issues with a electric fan where due to the radiator being the wrong size.. maybe that new radiator will play a better role with the electric fan! just might be the key!!! fyi, im thinking purely tow vehicle as i know it should be just fine for you.. but you might just have to find something heavy to drag around and up and down to see... bet alradco and flexilight sales jump if so..

Why couldnt they work? When you are rolling the air you force through the front end will cool it, not like the fan clutch is engaged running down the boulevard.

If you get on a route through town or go into a city, manually turn both e fans on and let em eat! It'll shed the heat.

Plus if he has an a.m. radiator, uts waaaay more efficient. Thicker and exchanges heat quicker and faster with each pass.

Plus his truck is light. Bonus.

Can you swap valve covers? Would there be room to put the vent on the passenger side?

Honestly, didn't think of that. BUT. These valve covers are a pain to put on flush, plus all the other things I had to modify to fit .i.e. Mount bracket, dip stock mount, gpr, etc. idk if the ccv on pass would fit where everything meets on pass side. I have a feeling it's under the bracket I made for dipstick. I'm gonna run to the speed shop tomorrow and get a 5" 90 silicone boot. See if it'll work

Stock fan pushes 10k cfm, these move 6500 cfm. Well see how they work
