****** SOLD ****** 2000 Excursion XLT 4x4 V10, or should I say V9. A spark plug was ejected and there is not enough material in the head for an insert. I won't put the money into it to replace the heads or the engine, so it has to go. It has 247,800 miles. Up until this incident it ran and shifted well.
There are a few minor cosmetic damages on the body, and the driver's seat is showing wear.
It is located in zip code 34983.

I am asking $2000. Carfax showed that it was originally sold in Montana. I don't know how long it has been in Florida. I've owned it for three years.

Had something similar happen in my 99 f150 with the 5.4L. The mechanic was able to thread it for a larger threaded spark plug. I think he said it was something out of a Bronco... Regardless I didn't have it long enough to need to replace the 7 and 1 spark plugs so I didn't worry too much about it. Might be an option if you would rather. Best of luck whatever route you pick.

It isn't an option. There isn't enough metal around the spark plug hole to put anything in there.

Did it blow a chunk out with it? I have the kit that has a reamer, and tap and the big ass insert that you screw in and then screw in the factory plug.. this..
