I say keep the monsters, but I love the look of 24's your truck is gorgeous the way it stands, I say leave it. if anything leveling kit and 35's to change pace a bit....otherwise it's really sick now.

Thanks, it's leveled and 35s right now. I just used an older pic, I should've used a lifted picture like on my first post, but I didn't have any that were high quality.

I really like the look of all black sotas like in the photoshop instead of the death metal. I hope they can do a gloss finish.

I'm always stuck on them too. Are there any other rims you guys really like, just trying to weigh out the last options y'all have before staying with the monsters.

MY honest opinion is find a wheel that you like, even if its in chrome and do something custom, it may cost some money but it will be worth it.

What i would do is do an all GLOSS black wheel, and then instead of a machined finish like the bmfs have, do a paint matched "machined" edge and that will set any wheel off. Im trying to figure out how to do gunmetal edge on my wheels, once i can do that im going back to black.

i saw a set of stealth novicanes and im not a fan... flat black looks crappy IMHO

:whs: good idea. i saw a set of novakanes that had the machined parts painted red to match a truck.. i thought about it on my fuels. would look really cool with a black wheel and some suttle machined parts in blue..

btw i hope SAK is cool with me posting these of his truck. thought it would help you out nick

Exactly what I'm saying, if I'm paying that much for a rim I don't want that crappy finish.

Hmm. What painted edge should I do? Gunmetal with gloss black sounds like a great idea for a black or gray truck like yours dz. Would blue be no bueno though for a machined sota? Blue and gloss black 24" novi? Or I could get the machined parts painted black to match it all like I originally wanted.

Am i going overboard in the wrong direction? This is sounding rediculous, and some serious coin as well. I remember seeing that chrome and blue lipped American force on a thread. Man I'm stumped. More photoshopping i guess.

I think eric's truck would looked good with red and black fuels, oh yeah saks picture is what I used on the first pics I photoshopped with the chrome and black rims. That pic really made me want sotas.

Any other rims out there I could do some custom work to that'll look good?

24s would be cool, kinda wish i had them but tire selection SUCKS so i went with 22s, probably wont switch to 24s because of that.

Novi's will look the best with a paintmached edge, sotas will look good too, as would any wheel you like. Lots of good looking wheels dont even come in black and usually still cost less to buy the wheel, have them coated the way YOU want, then some wheels cost.

For the record i miss my death metal BMFs

For some reason when I see a red truck the first thing I think is its a bold color, and wouldn't be surprised to see a red and black wheel with it. I'm not picturing blue and black to well in my head, I don't know why. But what does come across is an over the top rim that you would see at sema. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing

I have thought that a "white out" truck would look great. Paint match everything, and then with the wheels do what you have said above except to a chrome wheel. So leave the whole wheel chrome, except where the machined parts should be, those would get painted white. Or you could do just the opposite, buy a death metal colored wheel and paint the black part white.

that color blue is dark enough that it will be subtle, but i do know what your thinking, if not go gunmetal or something dark so its even more subtle.

I painted some harley tins a couple years ago flat black with gloss black flames, turned out awesome and looked killer, i wish i had some pics to show you, but maybe thats all you need is gloss/flat black to break up some edges

exactly, like on gares truck, do the machined white, do set off the black, and the white already on the truck... would look great, same with chrome and white, ford does that now on the fusions ill find a pic

Yeah I was thinking novi would look better going that route. And tires do suck. I'm trying to think of some chrome only wheels offhand that would be nice coated but I'm drawing a blank. I do like your rims though.

I had every intention of powdercoating them black before i put them on and still do, just kept looking for wheels i liked.
I think they're -25, not sure. Sorry for not multi quoting, I can't do it on my phone for some reason.

Everyone knows how i feel about that much offset on a stock or lowered truck but its your deal, should good well with what you have now, just not for me. Thats why i would pic a different wheel that fits more what you need and then coat to what you want... if that makes sense... you can change color but not offset or design...
