still cant make over 28psi

according to insight and dummy gauge on dash.
i had a problem a while ago not being able to make over 28psi, i had a bad exhaust leak, then found a whole in the hot side cac and the factory plastic cold side was cracked up. i figured that MUST be whats causing the low boost. well i fixed the exhaust leak and welded up the hole in hot side and bought a new metal cold side cac pipe.

still cannot make over 28psi. truck spools a little slow but it feels like it gets up and moves pretty quick once it spools and shoots straight to 28 and stops. any ideas? things to check?

The factory sensor maxes out at 29psi, you need to add a gauge

Mine was the same, I put a manual guage on it and had 45 lbs.
