I honestly don't know which is worse...berman getting dumber by the minute, saying money doesn't grow on trees, yet his truck has real issues, and he's spending more money on stupid sht to put on his truck, versus spending less money..to fix the issues. Or, this Brad guy. If it "has a warranty", let the warranter fix anything that pops up, instead of dicking with it yourself. Can't get the oil filter off?? Take it to the guy who put it on! It may sound stupid, but if there is a warranty, he could cancel that sht legally, by saying you put your retard on it, and messed it up. You have no leg to stand on. I like the fact he legitimately thought his truck had mystery mods lol. Good lord..both of you should sell your trucks, vehicles are obviously way out of either of your realms of thought, and ability. Sell that '01 before you completely *** it up, and go see if you can get another 9 months of no inspection on your honda, derp.

The oil cooler was a joke I already rebuilt it with seals gaskets pressed back together back on the truck then it failed guy decided to pay 2/3s. As for the oil filter I have no idea then the turbo I was informed by someone else that it was a 38r I am new to the 7.3s I have had it for a month. The honda was a accident because forgot about it for that long registration is in may inspection in august.

Brad hasn't argued with anyone that didn't start sh!t first.. From what I read of his posts, he is about the easiest going guy on here..

Brad, I would suggest in the future when you need oil changes, fuel filter changes etc, stop by the dealer and have it done, it's not that much more money than any other shop really and they have the right stuff and they know how to do it.. Most of these smucks that work at these little shops and used cars dealers have no idea what there doing.. One minute there working on a 6.0 and the next there working on a BMW, most of them are not qualified to change the oil on a lawn mower..

I will fully agree with you on small shops you have the guys that are complete jack wads then you have the good guy trying to make a living. The guy I personally go to is adept in international engines and diesel in a whole that is what he does for a living. On gas or other vehicles he brings in help I guess it is not his thing with them or will recommend another shop instead for proper repair. I have had nothing but great luck with him he helped the payment of reppair on the oil cooler failure. The shop that performed the work is mainly a diesel and fleet repair place he has contracts with various companies that use trucks that have variations of the 7.3 so I am confident in the quality of repair. I have seen his work in the past for the cost is better than he charges.

I personally have had poor experiences with the local ford dealerships I wish they would try remedy what happened but that is a crap shoot. It is hard going from limited knowledge to trying to gain 3+ years worth in about six weeks give or take. I have litterally gained a lot but still it is pisser my first diesel is going like this I have never seen such bad luck when buying a vehicle in my life. I just have minor kinks to work out now get it prepared for berlin nh weather and all that is my main priorty right now then getting go fast goodies.

Consider yourself lucky you didn't make the mistake of your first diesel purchase being a 6.0, many do and it normally doesn't turn out well.. For a new to deisel guy, your 7.3 purchase was a good move, you will get it worked out, it's a pretty simple reliable platform..

Yeah I know my cousin made that mistake buying a 06 ecsb loaded lariat new putting tons of money in the engine and other finace issues. Practically made him bankrupt I prefer the more simple proven designs over the problematic ones. Right now it is simple on the shelf issues that take a weekend to finish before they become major problems. A little tlc spit shine and a leveling kit with a new set of tires it will be golden. It has been one frustrating set back after another I have found most of the kwirks and just things that should have been repaired before sale/inspection but the good part is I know the replacement parts will be quality and installed by myself in the proper procedure.

I will probably have to do a set of injectors this winter I hope not but that is just what is happening now. I was also wondering what is a decent set of batteries for cold weather, engine degreaser any special type and a 6637 bulid thread searched breifly did not see one.

I am figuring a local battery distributor has some standard size with 850 ccas for 59 a piece. I could use new connectors I would like solder on factory style I cannot find any locally.
I have one good battery 12v and 650+/- the other one is 8-10v and max 350-400 amps alt is drawing 60v @ idle I ended up disconnecting the neg terminal.
I should just buy bulk supply of brake cleaner and some stocks in the manufacturing compaines.

6637 build thread. Lol

Haha I thought about the wording what I meant is how "others" have done it piping clamps battery mounting or various options to get the end result with a clean off the shelf look to it.
