The Black Onyx gaskets are too thin, even before being compressed which is why they fail. The only gaskets worth using are OEM and then secondary would be Hypermax.

The batmowheel is a good idea. I just put one in not to long ago and it lowered my egt's and picked up a little bit of hp and torque on a stock charger.

OEM gaskets use five metal layers, while the BO gaskets use only four, while the OEM ones also have more pronounced firing ring sealing surfaces.

When decking the heads, DO NOT mill to Ford specs......make sure the machine shop decks them completly flat. Get them magnifluxed as well. Might also wanna look into a regulated return fuel system while you have the cab off.
