Suggestion on shocks for our 2008 F-450.

Going to be hauling one of the Duramax pull trucks we sponsor out to Duramax Tuner for a dyno tune so I want to go through our F-450 next week before making the trip. It has 182k on it and I wouldn't be surprised if the shocks were original. Just looking for suggestions. It is a crew cab pickup, 4x4. Stock height. It has a trailer behind it for most trips.
It looks like KYB Excel G shocks are cheap. Fords don't seem terribly expensive either.

Also going to be doing ball joints as the left front is squeaking on turns. Leaning towards Ford parts for that unless otherwise suggested.

Motorcraft ball joints are probably your best bet. They lasted 180k, they should last at least that again. The new ones have grease zerks as well.
