Why does water/meth not work well on the 6.4s? I've heard that before and always wondered why

I personally have not had an issue with cracking blocks with mulitable stud jobs. Might consider doing sealant but thats about it.

I wonder if power has anything to do with it. I am going to try to knock it all out when the heads come off just to be on the safe side.

I don't think so. All of mine were from a torque wrench that wasn't calibrated correctly. Over torquing them. Personally I think most instances of cracked blocks are from operator error. Like mine.

I've been told that alot and that I should just sell mine but when I just had an intake exhaust and my Mini Max it helped. We will see how it works with this set up. I have been given so much crap about it, I will find out once and for all what kind if power gain and temp lose I get when I'm done with this. Just wish I would have already done that because I think it won't be as necessary now so I won't see as much of a benefit.

I could push my truck from 50 to 100+mph at WOT without setting off EGTs on HD300. My other truck I am running a Spartan and the EGTs will go ape chit on a pull from 70mph to 85mph on the 300LL. 275LL isnt bad on EGTs but it doesnt pull as hard. Feels like I can add more air with just a big tune but meth might work as well.

That's exactly what mine was doing on the H&S 250. Keep in mind I didn't like mine going over 1500. After the water meth it would stay below 1500 at the drag stripe after holding at 10-15 PSI for a long time waiting for the other truck to stage. I'd leave at about 700+. My H&S would say 1650-1690 but the EGT probe mounted in front of the #8 exhaust port for the snow kit would only show 1450-1520.

With the snow kit I could go from 0- my speed limiter without hesitation. Raced a Camaro up a decent grade for 80-135 (speed limiter) and never defueled.

Mine cracked within 5000 miles of the first time it seen head studs on a 55000 mile motor i think if its gonna happen it doesent matter......same old second stud from the back on diver side....pulled the stud and filled with a thread sealant and done.....cheap insurance give it the sealant the first time and save the wonders

same here except mine had 85k on it...
