Does the red head box change the steering ratio at all? I'd like mine to have less turning the steering wheel for how much the wheels turn. Probably too much to ask for from it but just curious.

I don't think so. That would make your steering harder as well.

no it doesn't. simply adds needle bearings where bushings are from the factory, and tightens the tolerances up.
