Looking for some first hand experience with Swamps HVHF IDM. I did some searching of older threads and it doesn't seem to be too common of a mod. Kind of one of the last things guys do.

My biggest question, is it worth it? It sounds like it makes things smoother overall, increases peak power, and broadens the power curve.

This would be going in my truck in sig.

It allows better resolution of the injectors during tuning is my ultimate understanding. More power to the injector which allows quicker times electronically.

I got one used and sent it in for a check up. When I got it back with a clean bill of health I installed it by itself (didn't do any other parts)
Idle was smoother. It pulls through each gear with authority. I'm really excited to see how it does with some injectors

From what I gather this is more noticeable on modified trucks compared to stock trucks.

Do my tunes have to be adjusted for it?

if your injectors have 400% nozzles, the mass fuel desired will need to be lowered (at light pedal position) to minimize the truck from hanging rpm, when you let off the pedal..so anything short of a 400/400..the IDM is plug and play.

How much of a difference will I notice with 250/100's? I'd like to get 200% nozzles in the future.

Haha! That's good to hear. Would you mind going into a little more of the theory behind how this improves injector performance? Maybe an old thread or PDF? I tried clicking the link for more info on your website, but it didn't work for me.

That's an awesome article! Very impressive to say the least to figure all that out with no circuit experience.

I can't get the second to last link about high performance idm's to work. Is that link dead?
