I'm building my own T4 mount and need help figuring out where oil feed and oil drain go and how to hook them up. Anyone who has done this in the last pictures would help tremendously.. Thanks

I can dig up pictures tomorrow. I drain into the fuel pump hole in the valley, pick up oil in the standard location.

Not sure if it helps much but my drain went right where the OBS mechanical fuel pump goes. Literally is a tube single oring welded to a plate that is drilled for the original fuel bowl mounting pattern.

The feed was a hole in the base plate centered directly over your OE pedestal mount feed from the block. Use your original feed spot and orings to mount your base plate with the original pedestal mounting holes. Thread the hole for your feed pressure to accept a 6an male fitting or bigger if you like.

What size is the drain tube ? Is the oil supply the bigger of the 2 holes under the pedestal ? What mount did you use for the charger or did you make your own ? Sorry so many questions I just can't have the truck down to lonv while doing all this.. Thanks

So use the small port for the oil feed and block off the large port when making the plate and use the mechanical fuel pump location to drain. Correct ? What moung are you using in the picture ?

I think you may need to do a bit more research before tackling this.

If you havnt checked out Irates site, you should look at the complete cost of a full kit along with the turbo options. Study the pictures until you know what you are looking at.

People typically buy the full kit ^^, some have made their own.

Oil drain needs to be much larger than supply, supply is 4an. Again, you wont have to worry if you buy the complete kit. If you intend to construct your own, I would plan on it taking a while unless you have a extra motor to mock up on, along with a lot of ground work.

I think I am going to at least buy the T4 mount and up-pipe setup. Then go with a Holset Turbo. And make my own turbo drain. If I use the mechanical fuel pump port in the block. Does anyone know what size the tube has to be ?

Holset turbo as in H2E? That needs a T4i mount. The T4 mount from Irate works with T4 mount turbos, like the S366/BASB.

1/2 inch ID at least, bigger is better. This information can be found in the links I posted...

The drain should be included in the kit.

Do you have a mock-up motor for this? Most custom setups utilize an external wastegate that is built into the mount. Built in wastegates are more typical of factory turbo's.
