Temps high or just paranoid?

Last weekend I had to take a drive to Waco to move out of my apartment, about a 2 1/2 hr drive. On the way back it was high 90's ambient temp and I was averaging 70-75. Not the flatest road either. Ect would go up to 208 and eot to 214. At that point they would both drop back down to around ect 203-5 I think and eot 209-211. Never got any hotter than those top temps though. Intake air temp was about 103 and tranny was 170ish. Delta never went over 6-7ish while cruising. Is this okay or is something not cooling right? (Restriction, waterpump, radiator..etc) thanks guys.

Did it the whole way home. Rising then cooling back down a little.

The coolant temp seems a little warm around here. Deltas are good though

I mean I've seen way higher when I was having to tow like 22-24k last summer for my job. But I expected them and understood it. Don't really understand these temps like now though.

Seams fine to me. i dont think the the fan even fully locks until like 225*.

well I washed the coolers out yesterday and she seemed to run a little cooler. Also put a stock paint matched front bumper back on, and took my replacement off. She seems to like it!

I also had a temps question.

Replaced water pump and flushed system with just distilled water. New stats. Upper and lower rad hoses from Ford. Ford OEM juice. New degas cap. Determined to solve coolant leaks. Worked.

Ect prior were steady at 190-200f with minimal delta.
Eot prior were 88-95c.

Now, I drove 800 miles to NY this weekend. 80 degrees ambient temp (much warmer than previous trip) through hills of PA and Ect were 140-160f and Eot were 60c.

EGT never go over 1000f and typically stay around 550 cruising hwy.

Question is... Is this how it should have been running all along? At what temp does the thermostat open. Maybe different times as there are two.
Drivers side upper portion of rad was hot after an uphill run when I parked so I'm to assume coolant is flowing from block as designed.

Just don't know weather to be smiling or worried :/. Engine is strong and doesn't smell hot. Loving it actually. And there are no spots in driveway
