Hey guys I want to step it up a bit, i've got a new daily driver and now i want to take my 6.0 and make it a puller and racer. but i'd still like to drive it on the street sometimes. need some ideas on what to do? turbo? injectors?

is there any point in a 225 hybrid?

Imelmo is selling a procharger. That would be sick with some 225's

I'd say a S400 setup from MPD and some 285 hybrids.

There was someone doing a build with 300/150 Hybrids? and a custom built s400 based turbo from puis a while back.

But at what point does the turbo out flow the stock heads?

the turbo is forcig the air through them, any 6.0 or 6.4 will benefit greatly from ported heads, which I also would look into. Im not sure if you have a ported intake, but thats another great idea in conjunction with the headwork.

I have a ported intake, but does a 66/74/.91 flow more air then stock heads can take?

I think there are several people with big setups is still using stock heads. I wouldn't worry about a 66.

that 66 will be replaced

either way you can still make huge power with the stock heads.

Man Iam looking at Procharging My truck with a Billet wheel hybrid from MTW, Tell me more about your setup!! I was thinking 285/150's or somthing.. F1 R maybe? What is your headunit an D1SC??

You don't want to use a VGT with a procharger or in a twin setup. If you use a procharger setup...use the F1 not the D1SC. The F1 is larger and is the one you'd want.

danny ran a procharger feeding a stock turbo with 225s a while back, the vgt is just fine.

yeah and it will have HIGH back pressure as well....that's what the vgt is known for. Same aspect as using a vgt in a twin setup. Sure it'll work....depends on how much bp you want and how long you want to keep your head gaskets. Why do you think Danny ditched the vgt.

Yeah, but that was with nitrous, dont get me wrong thats still impressive. I'm just thinking from a fuel only stand point, a 66 can handle 225's all day and with proper tuning can 800hp be had ??
