thinking about buying a project what yall think?

so I'm looking at this 99 sclb truck with some high miles no motor does have trans and interior is in decent shape and some rust. But I'll be getting it cheap my only concern so far is the rust. Is it repairable if I do buy it first thing is a paint job.

It might need more than paint from the looks of it, but its a project.

Yes it will be an slow going project. I'm going to look at it this Friday what would fix it? I was hoping to stay away from major body work

It needs new cab corners, which means the inner cab corners are also gone, and that elbow will probably need replacing, and the inner rocker will probably need touch up as well. Cab corners alone for a body shop, you're gonna be around $2k.
