Thanks for the insight Kyle. Im going to tear this down to redo the heads and have a talk to bill and get his ficm tuner and take it out for when I do haul.

honestly,you wont need a ficm tune period. any good tuner can tune around the ficms short comming.

i dont want to give away proprietary tuner secrets,as to how its done,so leave it at that.

its getting up there but whats it taking for him to hit 1300? 950 cruising doesnt sound to unreasonable taking everything into consideration.

If you're not in a rush/jj@dozer hasn't set you up/u still want to try compounds, I am working on putting the 6.4 compounds on my truck. I may be a couple more months before I am done but keep a look out if it strikes a cord with you.

Everything but the water/meth has been said. Her needs a bigger turbo. Anytime you go iwth oversize injectors, you will need more air. He isn't really running all that hot to warrant going into water/meth. A turbo change alone would probably suprize him with the power diffrence and running cooler.

There's no need for a bigger turbo. No sense spending money where it's not needed. Is it 950 while cruising down the freeway? 1300 doesn't sound bad at all. How fast are you going when your at 950

950 sounds normal to me..thats what i ran pulling this load 65+mph...IAT's were around 92-96 degrees..and this was on the stock pre-load 65hp tow
