just fyi~ there is no way for (bad) injector o-rings to allow coolant into oil, nor oil in coolant...

the injector o-rings have nothing to do with, nor contact, nor sealing of...engine coolant

Well chit.. guess I shouldn't listen to ford techs.. that proves how smart I am too...

Just for my own understanding could someone explain why/how a bad oil cooler can cause a ticking sound?

Oil mixed with coolant does two things bad.
1. Makes a lousy hydraulic fluid.
2. Makes a lousy lubricant.
