This weekend I was installing a dual steering stabilizer on the truck. When I grabbed the tie rod assembly it moved. It appears there is play and clunk sound on the passenger side tie rod when I apply a twisting upward motion on the large bar that connects the two tierods. Is there supposed to be movement in this?

yes you should be able to move the bar.. that means grease is still keeping it tight.. what do you think would happen if it was locked solid.. steering would bind s lil..
