Wanting to get a consensus for tires to run...I'm looking at a 35" or 315 sized tire. My debate is between the Toyo Open Country MT and Goodyear Duratracs. I ran the GYs on my last truck in 285 and loved them but the price between them and Toyos is really minimal so I'm considering trying something new. Or do you suggest something else?

Toyo, I've got a couple buddies running the GY and they wear out pretty quick. Its a real soft tire. A buddy had them on his 2011 in a 35 and they lasted about 15k miles. That's not cool in my book

Probably the weight of these trucks...I had the GY on my dmax and put 35k on then with an easy 10k left when I sold it. Definitely considering the Toyos

I have heard of Duratracs feeling squirmy when new

I had Procomp Extremes for 45k and loved them but they didn't have the next size up I wanted so I now have Toyo MT's and love them so far and The tire dealer stated I should see the same milage from the Toyo's around 40-50 k

but being your a DRW the Duratrac squirm if any would only be up front

are you going to need spacers ?

I heard that too, however I did not get that side affect.

I have always had good luck with Goodyear tires.

My next set will most likely be Goodyear. Nothing against Toyos.

But BFG's suck. :puke:
