As far as tires being squirely when they are new, my last set of toyos were the same until they wore in. It wasn't too bad with regular driving but if you really stomped on it you could really tell

You will love the duratracs in the snow...ive ran then before and will most likely run then again. I like the look of the toyos but may go with the gys cause I know how they act and what to expect

I liked my toyo MTs. Ran them in 315/75-16 on my ford. I was hard on them. Went through 2 rear sets with about half tread left on the front. The fully locked rear didn't help.

Probably getting paid at work to post this from my D1

if you do much driving in the snow stay away from the toyo m/t. i have 35's on the excursion and up here in alaska i have to run in 4wd most of the winter cause all they do is slide everywhere. they only have about 15k on them so they arent worn out either. other than that, i love the toyo's! might try sipping them when i get back to the great white north.

granted the New England winters arent quite as hard as Alaska, but have the exact opposite experience, I almost never have to use 4wd with toyo mt's. They dig/bite great and self clear awesome. never had a traction issue with them (have had them on 2 different trucks)

Got the duratracs on over the weekend and pretty impressed what they can do in the snow. I went with the 315/75R16.

I love my duratracs, 12000 miles on mine and they show very little wear.I have some new toyos in the shed but they arent as good in the winter.
