Are they really any larger then a Dodge mirror flipped up or an 08 SD mirror?

I was driving behind a semi today and was wondering if anyone has done a pair of those semi mirrors before, they remind me of the older pickups with the tall side mirrors but larger. My guess is it would look good or horrible.

we have thoes mirrors on both our one ton dumps where i work i think they look pretty good. they would look out of place on a stock truck though imo

Been there, done that. I need something that folds in when I'm out in the woods & isn't quite so over kill. That being said nothing could hide behind you.

I went back to my power nemos which do "okay" for daily driving but aren't going to be worth 2 sh!ts with a trailer behind it.

Hey yoder what size metal did you use on the mirror plate? 3/16? And did you just fill the gap between the plate and the door with weld or something else? Just curious, when I do mine I want it to look flush and almost like it was factory after it is painted.

I'm putting the dodge mirrors on my truck tomorrow. My nemos will be coming off and for sale. They're color matched white, other then the chrome cap. Non-power.
