What are the odds of the tow x turbos being able to hit 800 hp? Im picking up a set and was wanting high powers but deciided to get these will be runing 85's, dual pumps, airdog with upgrade, ported intake manifold and a few other things for support. What are the odds of 800 or should i upgrade the vgt to the 62mm?

Depends on who's Dyno you run on ;) I believe my high power setup is 775-800 on a normal race tune and standard boost levels. I dot think they would be much off that honestly, specially once some of the new mcc tunes start to make their rounds.

Like Bigr said, the tow X's will get you close, but 800 may be a stretch. I would bet that setup would be a solid, fun to drive 750+ though.

:whs: All dynos are different. Track times will tell the truth. I have yet to hit 800 with mine but with some more fine tuning Im sure I will hit it.

I was going to consider 110's but i think that will be to much fuel. I do tow some, but i would like a good 750-800 street truck that i can use with out stoping traffic because of smoke.

110's may be a bit much without custom tuning to pull fuel from the bottom. I haven't hit the 800hp mark but haven't tried really hard either. My lift and 37's aren't helping.

Jared from RCD was over 800 hp with a 72mm atmosphere in place of his 71mm and 60% nozzles with a dragonfire pump. Fuel bowl intact. Custom tuning. It probably gets hot quick, but it can be done.

That's also on aarons dyno

Exactly. Settlemire made 100 more than I did on that Dyno and he has less fuel than me. My track times with the lousy steed speeds say 770. Thats lifted on toyo mt's.

Where ya getting these Tow X's from? :lookaround:

It should be a solid 750 with the 85s and good tuning. 800 on fuel would be tough I think, especially on larger tires
