You are making the right move going to the SXE. We put an SXE in my father in law's dually with 4.10 (stock tires...not sure what 295 tire you are running) and he followed me to Colorado this year towing his 13K toy hauler. He did everything in 4th gear with EGTs at 1100 degrees in a 40HP tune with stock injectors on 6% grades. Neither of us had to 'back out of it due to EGTs' just slow cars or going to fast etc.

It took me long enough to get it through my head that this is the way to go. I am buying the SXE 366 from Uncool.
