Towing Mirror Repair

It’s been a while since anyone discussed this. The power fold gears on my towing mirrors are shot. I have been putting off the repair for a while because I don’t use them all that much and I haven‘t really seen many options or people really talking about it. Is Gruven still the only option other than new?

I've heard good things, once my truck is out of warranty I'll replace the plastic ones with those if it ever has an issue. The power fold mirrors on my 17 were bulletproof. I replaced one on my 22 at. 8k miles...

Definitely let us know. I have a couple local guys that need new gears as the motors just run and doesn't extend.

Still haven’t done this but found this video while looking for something else
