Towing with the 345?

Think it would be worth tryin to update my dd and gamble on the normal spartan tunes workin or just run it and watch it?

Don't update it, your KEM tunes will not work after the update.

I know. I only have the 345 so its not to bad if i lose it.

I updated my spartan couple month back.. I'm glad I did. Spartan 310 blows away kems 310/345. Also messed around with the spartan 350, that thing makes some nasty low end power. I'd upgrade.

I know a while ago on psn klutch did a review on how towing was with the 345 when he towed his race truck to get worked on. Maybe he'll chime in.

I have the newest Spartan tunes and am happy I upgraded. The new 300 tune is THE BEST tune ever for my truck as a daily driver. I've run it in -40 weather, up to as hot as it ever gets here in Alberta(-30). It surges less than any other I've run and I have no fear of towing with it. This summer I'll see how it does pulling approx. 10k. Runs better on my truck that the 210, or 210TP.

Well the 345 towed great. Expressway got shut down and it was straight ice and snow most of the way up. The trans does not like anything under 50(when my convertor locks) climbing a bridge at 40mph got the trans to 219 for a second. Averaged unlocked was 190 and locked was 168. Other than the trans under 50mph i was impressed
