http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=6706 This is a real basic design, but I don't know how/if it would interfer with an over load spring. I would have done this myself, but I have a 6 inch lift spring requiring additional fabrication to the vertical mount. Anyway, the logic here is that it is harder to pull this bar apart than it is to taco an under rider traction bar. Hence the smaller diameter of this traction bar. I am NOT saying that an OUO or PMF bar is going to taco, I am saying this set will work without compromising ground clearance, ie a stock ride height truck. The earliest use that I have seen of these are on the 65/66 GT350 Mustangs. They were very popular on lifted trucks through the 80s. I can only speculate that the wiener measuring of having a big ol'honkin under rider traction bar is why they are not as popular now. Because of my lift springs, and my lack of fab/welding skills, I bought Pro Comp traction bars, easy to bolt on and no more axle hop. Although they did run about $450.
