I picked up a BD kit last summer, still need to install it

Guess I'm keeping Silver.

You even named her. See!? You should definitely keep her.

Btw if she breaks down within a month, she's just getting back at you.

I had thought about selling my truck for a 17 but I just figure I'm gonna keep it and maybe one day get a different one. I'm going to do a 13 brake swap on my truck w/ ssbc rotors and calipers all the way around and mine is getting to the point of maintenance too as I'm just about to hit 100k. But all new fluids (every 50k on coolant and trans fluid here) and breaks and some front end parts even if it totals to 5k is still way cheaper than a down payment and having payments each month again on a new truck. I have this one how I like it so I'll just keep it. I haven't seen anyone grenade a turbo in quite some time now either but when it goes out a street max r will go on and so on. It's nice not having the payment and nothing really wrong with it.

And all the guys saying keep your truck I know we would all be singing a different tune if you said a 17 over a 16.

In my honest opinion, your truck is better looking than a 17 could ever possibly be.

I'm simply not a fan of the 17 retro new age fad look. There nice but they need a minimum of a 22" rim on 37" tires to look proportional to the billboard look from the side.

That's what I've heard. To be honest don't know if I would dereet again. But not getting a new truck so don't have to worry about it. LOL

We all say "we will stay fat" with this truck, doesn't last long... you soon want to go on a diet, being a slow poke is no fun.

Not to mention having to drive to finish the dam exhaust cleaning. That's what gets me the most. The other day I drove to work and it started to regen 3 miles before I got to work. It started to regen again the same night after work on the way home so I decided to drive 15 miles to let it finish. Coming from my tuned 6.4 and my dad's 7.3 I can't stand it. How does it help the environment to burn 50% more fuel all the time to burn off the ash. ***kin ***

Coming from a 6.0 to a 6.7 I waited to drop parts. I'm keeping my 12 but I won't wait so long next time.

Completely agree. After losing weight there is no way I could ever own a diesel again with that stupid filter. Huge pain in the ass. Nothing makes me happier than when I look at that screen and see 0% full. Runs so great and picked up at least 1.5 l/100on mileage even when resetting between regens. Not to mention all the fuel and k I put on driving just to let that stupid filter burn off. Another bonus is never having to handle that corrosive crap again.
