tranny cooler

Hey yall so i think my stock tranny cooler is bad on my 96 350. Temps easily hit 180-200 on just a 30 min drive empty not beating on it at all. It shifts great until it get hot then it starts slipping and rev slams begin as well. Its a built tranny from champion diesel. Im scared i was stupid and let it get too bad. whats my best bet for a bigger tranny cooler.

A bigger cooler won't fix the damage already done.

If its stock its probably not clogged...Its only a few bent tubes with fins.

i know a bigger cooler wont fix any damage done. I just want to replace to cooler with a new bigger one to prevent any more damage. IM gonna get it looked at and see what all was damaged.

The best cooler you can get is one from a 2003-2007 6.0L F-Series.

does the 6.0 coolers work with the stock line. just ned to fab my own mounting brackets?

cooler has brackets but you have to use adaptor fittings since the 6.0s use a larger trans cooling line to the cooler.
