Somewhat related question: If you guys had a trans let go, would you replace the cooler too or just flush it out?

Replace it, most coolers arent really flush-able.... A cooler is cheap insurance

That's what BTS recommends too, for the same reason. I tried to clean out my old cooler after the trans ate itself and the gunk never quit coming out. After that experience, I installed Dieselsite's trans filter kit.

Are you saying BTS puts a 6.0 cooler in the OBS trucks?

From postings on the other site, BTS mounted the V-10 and then the 6L coolers behind the bumper, of course I could be suffering from CRS,too.

yeah, thats sorta what I figured. Oh well. Another couple days won't hurt.
