I Just picked up a 2015 Power Stroke a week or so ago. It runs great with no major problems until... We took it up the mountain Sunday and as I was going down about an 8% grade running about 1500 rpm and 60 mph when it let out a loud grinding sound like gears grinding together or like when you hit the starter with the engine running. I pulled over and stopped, put it in park and after a bit I took off again with no problems. It ran great for the rest of the day until I started back down off the mountain. Then twice when I was on a steep down hill it would do it again until I stopped. I found that as long a I didn't try to use the engine to hold me back on the down hill I was OK. But if I did it would grind again. :fustrate:
Has anyone else had this happen? Any Ideas?
