Trans Pan

I have a 2001 F350 DRW pickup with 103K on it and pull a trailer with a antique tractor that is 10K I had on a scale at a truck stop and combo weight is 24k and I have a deep trans pan to put on should I do it or won't it help much I have the big 6.0 trans cooler on it now and it don't run too hot as I trans temp gauge also I have 4.10 rear axle what is you thoughts on the deep pan thanks

deep pans just take longer to heat up.. an cool off..

If you have the pan already, I say throw it on. If you are wanting to BUY a bigger pan, I say save your money, As it won’t help.

If you want the bottom of your truck to look pretty, put the pan on. That's the only benefit from a deeper pan. It won't help cool your transmission.
