Well, I broke the 30k mile mark, and I'd like to do a trans service. Does anyone use a deep sump pan? Pros/ cons? Also, what fluid should I use? Thanks for any advice.

The only benefit from deep pan is that it looks cool under the truck.
That makes sense. Does the deeper pan come with a longer sump for the filter?
Yes. It uses a entire new filter with a longer pickup
Side note.. The total capacity of the trans becomes about 25L? Sorry I'm metric. Does anyone still go about 1qrt over to help the rev/slam shift issue.
I run with about a 1/2 a quart over to help with 3rd to 4th ...and thats cause i'm running the H&S S2M trans tune...actually i find it happens with all of the H&S trans tunes i've tried....S1L, S2L.....S2L & S2M. :wtf:
I want to try a Gearhead tune i think...I've only read positive posts regarding their trans tunes...as well as their engine tunes.
