Transfercase fluid?????

I know that it calls for dexron like the trans takes. This just doesnt seem thick enough to me. I just pulled mine out getting ready to.toss a bering kit and chain in. Whay should i refill it with?

Yup, any good ATF.. I run Royal Purple ATF in all my transmissions and t-cases.

Rebuilding my rear diff now. The kit i ordered lost the crush sleeve in shipping. Has any one reused them? I have in toyota off road trucks, but there is a little more horsepower and torque here. So im unsure. I wanted to finish this tomorrow. So i dont have to drive on my front axel.

Sorry i always get the 2 mixed up. My buddys shop is a shaffers distributer so i went with their all trans anyways.

I wouldn't reuse the crush sleeve. You won't get the right preload on the bearings. Either get a new crush sleeve or a solid spacer if I one is available for it.

I looked for a solid spacer and couldnt find one. I wont have a crush sleeve till thursday so i guess ill drive my front axel another week lol.

Not the t-case my rear diff. Rebuildint the tcase didnt fix my problem so im doing my reardiff now.
