Looking from the rear of the tran's, solenoid C is the 3rd one from the left on the back row of solenoids.

Mine will slam into gear if I'm coming to red light and rolling without touchy the throttle and at 20mph give it a little fuel and its like I can't make it's mind up on which gear to go in I got two buddies with 08s and theirs does the exact same Thing so if I was you I really wouldn't be sweeting it, all of our trucks have done it since day one

Have any pics of the rear of your truck? I am looking at getting a 7 inch tip. How do you like it? Is yours a f250 and what kind of leveling kit with size? Sorry for derail.

Not to derail I get some trans codes when I get on x-race hard. P0766 and P2703. Direct clutch solenoid codes. WHat do they mean? That the solenoid is going or the trans?

Sounds like you have more than a solenoid problem.

UPDATE: the solenoid seems to have fixed my problem. 750 miles so far and its been good, no more slamming.

Yes 5" with a 7" tip not only fits the truck well with just a leveling kit in the front and noting in the rear and it also have a very good looking tone to it also
